There has been a little creating around here recently. I finished a couple of small pieces of cross stitch.
Well one is completed, just a few more stitches to finish this one.
"Let it Snow" is a design by Country Cottage Needleworks and appears in the 2008 edition of Just Cross Stitch "Christmas Ornaments". I have only recently found this magazine and, so far, have been able to get this year's edition and the 2008 one. I hope to find more editions, the designs are excellent.
The hook hasn't been neglected, Christmas Ornaments (the dark colour is green, not black!)
together with a Happy Flower for one of my Ravelry friends.
I finished the blanket in time for EM's 3rd birthday - where do the years go?
Not many flowers have survived the frost in the garden so I've been consoling myself with some beautiful orchids
I've quite excelled myself this year as four have decided to come into flower together!
and the Christmas cactii have been in bloom for a few weeks.
I though it was about time I treated you to a Giveaway. I mentioned in a previous blog post the latest Mollie Makes magazine with its lovely owl mitten pattern
and beautiful Selina Lake calendar.
I will leave the draw open until the 20th December. It may mean you might not receive your prize before Christmas (especially if you are outside the UK) but, hopefully, it will be with you in time for you to hang the calendar on the 1st January.
Hope in this busy time you are finding time for yourself and not overdoing things.
Carol xx
