This post will be photo heavy, I don't imagine there will be many complaints about that! No better photo to begin with than that of the lovely Lucy, in her chair, in her happy corner.
Despite greeting hundreds of "fans" and posing for endless photos Lucy was kindness and patience itself. Friendly and approachable, she certainly didn't show the long hours she had been working before the festival. I'm hoping Lucy is now getting some well-earned rest.
I know you will recall those lovely ducklings Lucy was making, well these could be found right at the beginning of the walk through the park.
Cute? They certainly were
More photos of the studio where Lucy now produces some of her creations.
What a lovely place
I spoke to Tracy on the Sunday and she was saying that people were trying to buy Lucy's stash, well who could blame them? Look at those squishy yarns.
More of Tracy's lovely creations
So hard to choose, these hares were gorgeous
But I brought home this lovely little mouse. Isn't she beautiful?
I asked the little mouse what her name was, she said "I don't know, it's a mystery". "Ah", I said, "I'm very pleased to meet you Miss Story". Wonder what tales she will have to tell............
In Sunday's post I mentioned finding my flag on the gatepost near the entrance. Well when I crossed the road it was time to join the queue! What a queue! A very friendly one it was too, everyone was just so excited at what was awaiting us when we finally reached that building you can see in the distance.
I was lucky, I had a prepaid ticket and it wasn't very long before a gentleman came down to inform us that those with these tickets should join the shorter queue on the right-hand side.
Another shot of the fantastic bunting
One of the very popular sellers was the Natural Dye Studio
There were patterns, books and kits to buy. Love this design
and this one
All those fabulous colours started out like these
and don't forget...............
Well Blogger is getting a bit slow so before it loses this post.......... a last couple of photos.
A prize-winning sheep I kidnapped on Sunday as I was missing my IG buddies
(it looked so much better before Blogger turned it on it's side!!!)
A little tease of my Yarndale stash.
Finally delivering a message of good wishes from Teresa to Lucy.
I'll be back with a final Yarndale round up very soon.
Hope you are enjoying your visit.
